Truenorth has had the privilege to work with the finest creative talents in the world, director´s like Fredrik Bond, Ivan Zacharias, the late Paul Arden, Kevin Thomas and Dominic Murphy to name a few. Collectively, our producers have over 500 shooting days in car commercials and other logistically challenging shoots in severe conditions on glaciers, beaches and the highlands.
The Truenorth team has been involved and helmed all the major feature film shoots in Iceland. Sir Ridley Scott selected Iceland as his "alien" planet, for his newest epic "Prometheus" (20th Century Fox/Scott Free). Filmed in the summer of 2011, the magical highlands and a waterfall in the north served as the main exterior in the film. Then the largest to date, "Flags of Our Fathers" (Warner Bros, Dreamworks, Malpaso), directed by Clint Eastwood, included 1000 people filming for 5 weeks, commenced without delay or slightest hitch.
Other films we have proudly been involved with are "Journey 3-D" (Walden Media), "Hostel Part II" (New Line Cinema), "Stardust" (Paramount). Prior to founding Truenorth, we line produced "Batman Begins", James Bond "Die Another Day" and Lara Croft "Tomb Raider".
We love doing the budget challenging Music Promos, and are proud to have worked closely with the Icelandic band Sigur Rós, and other international classics, like Take That, Darkness, Brian McFadden, Goldfrapp, SpiritualizedYann Destal.
Many excellent photographers have honoured us with their work, and probably the true measure of our service was when we worked with Annie Leibovitz photographing Leonardo Di Caprio for the front cover of Vanity Fair green issue.
